USB Flash drives or Universal serial bus are storage devices but are very compact in their size and are easily portable. They are a wonderful alternative for the Floppy disks, Compact disks and DVDs and have replaced them very long ago. Even though smaller in size, the flash drives are capable of storing more data than the previous storage devices. Some of them are capability to store nearly one Gigabyte and even up to two hundred and fifty six Giga bytes. No working place can be imagined without this useful electronic storage device as they are the most used for transferring files like spreadsheets, documents, presentations, music videos, photos and so on.The use of electronic devices has increased manifolds that the health concerns have also increased likewise. Many studies have proved that it might be very hard to get rid of them (degrade them when not required). Recently a Hong Kong based company called Hoshino has come with the first ever biodegradable USB flash drive. It is said to have been manufactured using resources such as biodegradable items like sugarcane and corn. Actually it is made out of polylactide or PLA, thermoplastic and aliphatic polyester that are derived from sugarcane and corn as they are renewable resources and are biodegradable. There is no need to get worried at they work very much like the other flash drives that are already available in the market and are on par with them. But the advantage of these biodegradable flash drives is that they do not pollute the environment. If so, why not switch over to this environmental flash drive?
I have recently visited this web guide on pen drives - http://www.bestpendrive.info This website helps us find pen drives with high storage capacity at very cheap prices. The site also lists out green flash drives that are environment friendly
